The mountain lodge has 6 rooms and a tiny house. All rooms have a toilet and shower.

General information
Your stay
Check-in: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (please let us know in advance if you arrive later)
Check-out: by 11:00 a.m. (late check-out available until 2:30 p.m. for CHF 40)
Breakfast times: 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. (earlier by arrangement)
Parking: Free parking is available directly in front of the house. If these spaces are taken, there is a public car park right next door – also free of charge. You can charge your electric car at an outdoor socket (CHF 20) – please bring your own charging cable, as we currently do not provide one.
Dining nearby: Your stay includes a generous breakfast (except during special weeks). To make the rest of your stay a culinary High Life moment too, we have put together a few addresses nearby:
- Restaurant Muntsulej – directly opposite the mountain lodge in Mathon. Good traditional cooking. (Closed on Wednesdays)
- Hotel Restaurant Capricorns – in Wergenstein, a few minutes by car. Regional and creative Graubünden cuisine, lovely terrace overlooking Val Schons. Open Tue–Sun.
- Ustreia Orta – in Lohn on the Schamserberg. A small, fine restaurant with Graubünden specialities and a great view. Currently open Fri–Sun only; reservation recommended.
- Hotel Post Andeer – in the valley, about 17 minutes by car. Two options: the casual «Beiz» with regional classics, or the gourmet restaurant (Thu–Sat evenings only, tasting menu). Reserve early for the latter.
We recommend booking in advance, especially at weekends and in high season.
Prices & surcharges
Double room for single use: CHF 50 reduction per night on the room rate
Children in parents’ room:
0–2 years CHF 20 / 3–7 years CHF 45 / 8–17 years CHF 65
Visitor’s tax: CHF 2.80 per person per night (from age 12)
- Final cleaning tiny house / holiday flat: CHF 80
- Short stay (1 night): CHF 20 per room
- Dogs: CHF 15 per night (allowed in rooms «Muttnerhorn» and «Piz Beverin», not permitted in the tiny house)
- Christmas / New Year (26 Dec – 4 Jan): CHF 20 per person per night, minimum stay 3 nights
Booking conditions
Cancellation terms (individual bookings):
- up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation
- 13 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the booked stay
- from 6 days before arrival or no-show: 100% of the booked stay
Late arrival or early departure is charged for the entire confirmed stay. Group bookings may be subject to different cancellation terms.
